DAY BY DAY ITINERARY
Day 1 – WELCOME TO BOHINJ
Arrival in the Julian Alps, bike setup, GPS & route briefing. Optional short ride to get acquainted. Enjoy the tranquil alpine surroundings and take in the crisp mountain air. Evening walk to lake Bohinj is a perfect introduction to Slovenia’s natural beauty.
DAY 2 – Bohinj to Lake Bled and Back
Cycle between two iconic lakes on scenic roads and bike paths. Stop at panoramic viewpoints for photos of Lake Bled’s island and castle. Taste a traditional Bled cream cake before continuing your ride.

Day 3 – POKLJUKA PLATEAU & ALPINE VILLAGES
Climb to Pokljuka Plateau, descend to Radovna Valley, finish in Kranjska Gora. Enjoy the peaceful forest roads of the plateau and watch for local wildlife. Take time to explore quaint mountain villages and local artisan shops and restaurants.

Day 4 – VRSIC PASS & SOCA VALLEY
Conquer Vrsic Pass and descend into the emerald Soca valley. Marvel at the dramatic mountain landscapes and stop at the Russian Chapel on Vrsic pass. The turquoise waters of the Soca river are perfect for photos or a short refreshment break. Overnight in Kobarid.

Day 5 – italy and romantic vineyards of goriska brda
On this day you will slowly leave the Julian Alps and cycle to the romantic vineyards of the Goriska Brda. On this day you will also ride through Italy for the first time and explore typical Italian towns including an UNESCO world heritage site Cividale del Friuli. The ride among the vineyards will bring you back to Slovenia and we suggest to reward yourself with a taste of magnificent Slovenian wines.

Day 6 – mYSTICAL KARST REGION
You will leave Goriska Brda, but you will be still cycling in the wine regions. Today you will spend a night in the Karst region full of amazing underground caves. A must try is the Bora wind dried prosciutto and a glass of Teran wine.

DAY 7 – COASTAL FINALE: TO THE ADRIATIC SEA
After long days in the saddle it’s time to hit the beach. A beautiful ride on which you again for a short time visit Italy will bring you to the Slovenian coast. After a refreshing swim in the Adriatic sea we suggest a nice Mediterranean dinner to celebrate your amazing ride.

DAY 8 – DEPARTURE
After breakfast it’s time for check out. Take a final morning stroll along the coast or savour a coffee while reflecting on your epic journey from mountains to sea.
