Vogar mountain with lunch in the mountain hut
Vogar mountain rises just above the Bohinj lake and and offers amazing views on Bohinj valley, lake and the amazing mountains of the Bohinj ridge. There are two stunning viewpoints on the mountain together with a picutresque mountain hut, where you can taste typical and traditional Slovenian mountain food.

Mostnica GORGE and Voje valley with strudel in the hut
Through the thousands od years the river Mostnica has carved a 2km long canyon that ends under the Devils bridge right on the outscirts of the Stara Fuzina village. Start your hike in the Stara Fuzina village, explore the Mostnica gorge and walk all the way to picturesque Voje valley and visit the beautifull Mostnica waterfall. There are two mountain huts in Voje valley so you don’t have to bring much food and snacks on this tour. Try some of the typical mountain meals and get in touch with the locals.

Note: There is a small entrance fee that you pay at the entrance to the Mostnica gorge. Mountain huts don’t accept cash so make sure to have some with if you want to taste that traditional mountain stews or fresh baked Strudl.
Around the lake to Savica waterfall with Savica cake at the hut
With this hike you will combine walk around the largest permanent lake and visit of the most popular waterfall in Slovenia. Start along the north shore of the lake all the way to Ukanc village and then continue all the way to the waterfall viewpoint. Return back to the village the same way you came, walk through the village passing the campsite and continue you trip on the footpath next to the road on the south side of the lake.

Note: There is a small entrance fee that you pay when visiting the Savica waterfall. You can shorten your hike by taking a bus or an electric boat from Ukanc to Ribcev Laz village.
