Hiška se nahaja na edinstveni lokaciji brez zvočnega in svetlobnega onesnaženja. Ob večerih lahko uživate ob ognju in zvezdnatem nebu v osrčju Triglavskega narodnega parka. Dostopna je z avtomobilom ali z uporabo brezplačnega prevoza v poletnih mesecih. Zunaj lahko uživate na ležalnikih in si spečete okusno kosilo na zunanjem žaru. Lokacija hiške ponuja odlično izhodišče za pohodniške ture.
Planina Vogar se nahaja v središču Triglavskega narodnega parka in je priljubljena destinacija. Primerna je za samostojen izlet ali kot izhodišče za daljše ture po okolici. V bližini sta dve osupljivi razgledni točki s čudovitim razgledom na Bohinjsko jezero in Spodnje Bohinjske gore. Eno od razgledišč je tudi priljubljeno vzletišče za jadralne padalce, v bližini je tudi glavna planinska koča (Kosijev dom), kjer lahko uživate v okusni lokalni hrani.

Google 5 star review: Grega and Maja were exceptional hosts. They helped us with everything from the pre-planning to suggestions of things to do in the area. Our bike tour with Grega was fantastic! He showed us some areas we had not explored, gave us some history and was a great tour leader. We absolutley loved this area! We were able to stay in their quaint, charming chalet. It was right next to the river in the center of town. We loved the outdoor space with the picnic table and fire pit. We even saw locals bringing their cow(s) to pasture right through town. Such a wonderful experience! We would definatley recommend Hike&Bike Tour Agency and can't wait to come back and experience more of Slovenia! Thank you, Grega and Maja!!

Maja and Grega were the perfect hosts, always available to help or offer advice. We hired bikes from them too.

The accommodation itself is charming, and you can tell the hosts have put a lot of care into every detail. It’s also in a great location, perfect as a base for nearby hikes and swims in the lake. Highly recommend - we easily could have stayed a week!
Booking.com rating 10: A perfect stay at chalet Hike&Bike above Bohinj valley with the most spectacular views of the mountains. Very clean and cosy, especially during a storm. Lovely hosts with great communication and easy access. Not too far from the lakes and amenities, drive down lovely wooded roads and past the odd cow or two. Would love to go back!
Booking.com rating 10: We had an amazing stay at Hike and Bike Chalet - truly one of the best rentals we have ever had! The hosts were so kind and so helpful, the location was spectacular, and the chalet adorable and comfortable for our two families of 3. We used this chalet as our base for hiking in Triglav and it was perfectly located, both for access to the hiking trails and for access to the lake for post-hike swimming. There's a restaurant right next door, a grocery store 3-minute walk away, and the busier town of Ribcev Laz a 20-minute walk away for more restaurants/bars. The kids had an amazing time playing badminton and baseball on the lawn by the creek, and I loved sitting out on the porch in the evening with a beverage, watching one of the townsfolk walk her cow home. Do not miss the chance to stay here if you're in Stara Fuzina!
