Julian Alps are the largest mountain group in Slovenia and also a part of the Alps. Almost in the middle of the mountain range is the highest mountain of Slovenia, mt. Triglav. The three main valleys; Bohinj valley, Upper Sava valley and Soca valley offer a gateway to the kingdom of the peaks, lakes and alpine meadows. We have designed an amazing gravel loop where you can in 3 days of cycling experience the best of what Slovenian mountains and the Julian Alps have to offer.
After arriving to Bohinj valley and checking in at your accommodation we will have a welcome meeting where you will get all the final information for your trip. If you will arrive early you can do a warm up ride in the valley and explore the area.
First day of cycling will start in Bohinj valley where you will climb over the famous Pokljuka plateau, cross the amazing alpine meadows and ride almost the entire day in the Triglav national park. The amazing descent will bring you to Radovna valley and you will finish your day in world famous alpine village Kranjska Gora.
