From Alps to Adriatic sea

This amazing adventure starts in mystical Bohinj, continues to the picturesque Bled and Kranjska Gora, challenges you with crossing the highest mountain pass in Slovenia. Cycling continues along the Soca river, the turquoise pearl of Slovenia followed by romantic vineyards of Goriska Brda all the way to the scenic Adriatic coastline.

Day 1

welcome to Julian alps

After arrival to Bohinj valley we will start with a welcome meeting, where you will get all final information and materials for your trip. If you choose to rent bikes with us, this will also be the day when we will fit the bike to your needs. If you come early we invite you to hop on your bike and do a short warmup ride around the area and get ready for your cycling adventure.

DAY 2

DISCOVER BOHINJ VALLEY

On this day you will ride on our Bohinj loop and you will truly experience all the beauties that Bohinj has to offer.

Day 3

enjoying GRAVEL&villages

It’s time to leave Bohinj valley and you will climb up to Pokljuka high plateau and descend to the outskirts of lake Bled. A ride through an amazing Radovna valley will bring you to the world famous alpine village Kranjska Gora.

Day 4

HIGHEST PASS IN SLOVENIA

This day will be an epic one. You will cross the highest pass in Slovenia, ride along the famous Soca river and ride through some of the nicest alpine valleys in the world before you reach a charming town of Kobarid where you will spend the night.

Day 5

ROMANTIC VINEYARDS

On this day you will slowly leave the Julian Alps and cycle to the romantic vineyards of the Goriška Brda. This sometimes called also “Slovenian Tuscany” is the place that you must visit. After the ride we suggest for a taste of magnificent wine that is produced in the area.

Day 6

Mystical karst

You will leave Goriska Brda, but you will be still cycling in the wine regions. Today you will spend a night in the Karst region full of amazing underground caves. A must try is the Bora wind dried prosciutto and a glass of Teran wine.

DAY 7

ADRIATIC SEA

After long days in the saddle it’s time to hit the beach. A beautiful ride on which you will also visit Italy will bring you to the Slovenian coast. After a refreshing swim in the Adriatic sea we suggest a nice Mediterranean dinner to celebrate your amazing ride.

DAY 8

DEPARTURE DAY
