For your first ride, will take you from lake Bled over the famous Pokljuka plateau all the way to the Bohinj valley that is located heart of the Triglav national park. You will have the chance to do a very nice climb, ride over some spectacular alpine meadows, stop for lunch in a typical mountain hut and enjoy a beautiful descend that will end by the largest permanent lake in Slovenia. After the ride we recommend to go for a swim in the lake before we invite you to a traditional local inn, "gostilna" for an alpine dinner.

TECHNICAL DATA:
- distance: 49 km
- vertical meters: 1800 m (up and down)
The ride today will start by Bohinj lake and take you up to the Soriska planina ski center where you do your final climb to the Bohinj ridge. From there you will ride an amazing WW1 mule trail, descending almost 1000 vertical meters. The last part will be cycling through the narrow valley of Baska grapa all the way to Most na Soci where you can end a long, but a nice day on the shore of the Soca river.

TECHNICAL DATA:
- distance: 60.5 km
- vertical meters: 2300 m (up) and 2700 m (down)
Day 4 is a big climbing day as well. You will start your ride along the Soca river all the way to Tolmin. There you will start your climb to the famous and super scenic Javorca church. We definitely recommend a stop there before you continue your ride over the beautiful alpine meadows that rise above Soca valley. The end of the ride is a very nice descent all the way to charming Kobarid town. Just before you reach the town you can also visit the Kozjek waterfall that definitely won't leave you cold hearted. In Kobarid we suggest to treat yourself with a nice cold local beef in the Polonka inn and a local shepherds dish called frika.

TECHNICAL DATA:
- distance: 40 km
- vertical meters: 2700 m (up and down)
Day 5 will be all about riding along the emerald Soca river. Your goal for the day is a scenic Trenta valley where Soca river springs. You will be gradually gaining altitude, but your main focus should be on the alpine vilages, stunning nature and great views. In Trenta you will sleep like a baby surrounded by the high peaks of the Julian Alps.

TECHNICAL DATA:
- distance: 40 km
- vertical meters: 1300 m (up) and 900 m (down)
A big day is ahead of you as you will cross the highest mountain pass in Slovenia, Vrisc 1611m. Your ride will start in Trenta valley and before you really hit the 26 hear pins of the pass we suggest to do a short hike to the Soca river spring. This is where you will say goodbye to Soca valley and climb on the scenic road that was build by the Russian prisoners during WW1. It's a must do climb for every cyclist in Slovenia, so you shouldn't miss it as well. Once you reach the top take a break in one of the mountain huts, before you get off the tarmac and onto the old gravel road that will bring you super close to the mt. Prisank north wall. If you look close you will spot the face of "the pegan gril" that is forever trapped in the mountain. First part of the descent is on a beautiful trail and later you join the main road towards Kranjska Gora. Just before the end of the descend you will turn into Krnica valley and ride all the way to Jasna lake where we suggest a short stop. You are just a few minutes away from Kranjska Gora village centre where you will spend the night.

TECHNICAL DATA:
- distance: 31 km
- vertical meters: 1800 m (up) and 1600 m (down)
Last day of riding will be a very scenic one. You will ride from Kranjska Gora all the way to lake Bled through an amazing Radovna valley. The first part of the ride will be on an abandon railroad, cycling path nowadays dedicated to one of the greatest Slovenian ultra cyclist Jure Robic. Once you reach Mojstrana village we invite you to visit the Slovenian alpine museum and take a brake in the village that also has the only Olympic square in Slovenia dedicated to many olympians that represented Slovenia at the Olympic games throughout the years. Ride through Radovna valley is very scenic and during the ride you will pass one of the largest linden trees in Slovenia and a beautiful small lake named Kreda. Just before you reach Bled we suggest to also visit the world famous Vintgar gorge. From the gorge you have just a few kilometres and you are at your finish. Congratulations, you have completed the loop around the Julian Alps. Now it's time for party with good local food, a glass of Slovenian wine and don't forget to taste the famous Bled cream cake called "kremsnita".
