Julian Alps are the largest mountain group in Slovenia and also a part of the Alps. Almost in the middle of the mountain range is the highest mountain of Slovenia, mt. Triglav. The three main valleys; Bohinj valley, Upper Sava valley and Soca valley offer a gateway to the kingdom of the peaks, lakes and alpine meadows.
