FOREST THERAPY WALK
Forest Therapy, also known as Forest Bathing, is a relational practice that fosters deeper intimacy with the natural world—and with our natural selves. It offers an opportunity to reconnect with the essence of who we are, what we are born to be, and how we are meant to serve in the world. Additionally, this practice supports every aspect of our well-being.
The health benefits of Forest Therapy are remarkable. Research shows it can boost immune function, improve cardiovascular and respiratory health, restore attention, and reduce stress and depression.
At its core, Forest Therapy is a research-based framework for healing and wellness through immersion in forests and other natural environments. This practice is inspired by the Japanese tradition of Shinrin-Yoku, which means “forest bathing.”
Scientific studies highlight numerous benefits, particularly for the cardiovascular and immune systems, as well as for enhancing mood and cognitive function. Beyond these measurable outcomes, Forest Therapy invites us to remember that we are inherently part of nature—not separate from it—and connected to all living beings in profound ways.
Forest Therapy is a practice, not a prescription. There’s no “right” way to experience it, nor a predetermined list of benefits you “should” receive. Instead, it’s an open-ended exploration that encourages a reciprocal relationship, where both the forest and the practitioner support each other’s wellness and wholeness. The structured, guided sequence of Forest Therapy provides a foundation while leaving space for creativity and the unexpected gifts of nature.
Book your Winter Forest Therapy Walk today and experience the healing power of nature. Let the forest guide you toward balance and renewal!
